WEEK 13

Week 13 : 18/06/2020

This week, we presented our work to Dr.Azah and our course mates. We also viewed on other groups presentation.

Everything come with an end. Thanks a lot to my group members and instructor Dr.Azah to give us this opportunity to this project.

WEEK 12

Week 12 : 11/06/2020

This week we don't have session with our instructor. Our group members discussed together about what contents should we include in our presentation. We screenshot some important parts from our videos and put into this presentation. Gay Chin, one of  my group member assigned to edit the video for this presentation.

WEEK 10

Week 10 : 28/05/2020

This week, we also don't have sessions with our instructor. Our committee requested all of us to upload pictures on our behind scene video making. Besides, members of team B start their work and also need to record a video.

WEEK 9

Week 9 : 21/05/2020

This week, we don't have any sessions with our instructor. Our instructor remind us to complete our video because some of us haven't submit the video.

Team A's video need to submit as soon as possible because team B need to show the video about the module to the kid.

WEEK 8

Week 8 : 14/05/2020

This week, we have a meeting with our instructor. This meeting is to solve confusions regarding this activity's video. Besides, Dr Azah had explained again that our program. Team without kids need to make video for module and team with kids are required to interact with kids while watching the video created by team without kids.

WEEK 7

Week 7 : 07/05/2020

This week we have no online meeting with our instructor. Doctor Azah told us to brainstorm and record the teaching video as soon as possible.

Reflect on the Covid 19 situation and its implication to community engagement

At first, I was so excited because this project will interact with kid but unfortunately, the covid 19 had changed all the plans. Plans always fall behind changes. Fortunate to us and this projects, we just have to changes our project target and also our planning. But to those who are unfortunate, they lost their family members and jobs due to covid-19. Covid-19 was a big challenges to each level of community, students ,teenagers, employee, worker and parents. For students, we had to change all the face to face learning to online learning. This online learning is not a big trouble for us but for me face to face learning is more effective compare to online learning.

 Covid 19 not only affect student but affect all the Malaysians. For example, during MCO all the profession, industries, education must closed until Prime Minister announced to reopen and restart all the industries, education and other. During this MCO period, we had to stay at home and all face to face meeting needed to cancel. 

WEEK 6

Week 6  : 26/03/2020

Due to MCO, our mid-semester break started earlier(23/03/2020 until 26/04/2020). We had no choice to cancel our original plan and carry out a new plan.

Our new plan will divide all of the members into two groups, one group with kids , another group without kids. Our teaching module will be the same but teaching method is through video. The group without kids have to make a video of the module. The group with kids will become the coordinator of the activity to teaching the kid to carry out the activity.

I will be joining the group without kids.

 

             

WEEK 5

Week 5 : 19/03/2020

Due to the rise of Corona virus cases in Malaysia, University of Malaya had decided to cancel all classes and all the activity and programs.

Our prime minister has announced that Movement Control Order(MCO) will be implemented from 18th March.

Due to MCO, our program has to stop immediately. Doctor Azah has told us that everyone has to stay home, stay safe.

WEEK 4 - BITS WITH KIDS && COMPUTER SCIENCE WITHOUT COMPUTER

Week 4 : 12/03/2020

This week our face to face class was discussed about our module. Our head of Logistic department, Richie discussed the module about the objective, duration, materials, methodology, time allocation, and also the outcome. Some of our friend gave some interesting opinion. By the way, this will let our module will going more smooth.

On the other hand, some problem coming up. WE STILL WORKING ON IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next week, test run program will going on. So hopefully the test run program will going smoothly.

WEEK 3 - DECIDING THE THEME

Week 3 : 05/03/2020

The second face to face class, we were formed a small group to discuss the themes for our project from 17 sustainable development goals by the United Nation. After discussion, the four themes including " NO HUNGER " , " AFFORDABLE AND CLEAN ENERGY " , " RESPONSIBLE COMSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION " and " CLEAN WATER & SANITATION ".

WHAT WE HAVE DONE IN THE FIRST AND SECOND  WEEK?

FIRST WEEK : 20/02/2020

Due to the corona-virus, our class was replaced to online learning class. We were informed that our project will be a big group project. We will going to SK Bukit Lanjan, a orang asli school near Damasara to carry our project.

WEEK 2 : 27/02/2020

Our first face to face class started. During the class, we got more details about our big project. An organization was formed which consists of Logistic department, Protocol department, program/module department, multimedia department, technical department, utilities department, sponsorship department and also mentor. I was joined into mentor group to teach the students at SK Bukit Lanjan.

I was so excited for the coming week.
